Before we tried Maki Solar products we used many other types of warning lamps, including solar powered warning lights and traditional warning lights. We would have to change the batteries every two weeks which is not only not good for the enviroment but also a big addtion to the net cost. Solar powered solar lights had the problem of not being bright enough. They were not visible from far enough away. We found though, that the special optical design of the Maki Solar warning lights, makes them visible up to 500m away, and their completely sealed design completely prevents the dampness from getting in. At construction sites where electricity is not available they provide sufficient power to make our construction site safer.
