	In November 2006 I started to use Maki Solar Ground Lights. Maki Solar offered us a good solution for times when, due to wiring and budget limitations, there was no way to install underground wiring for lighting in a public square. Their products do not need to be connected to an electrical source so it is unecessary to install underground cables; one only needs the to install the metal casing and to replace the interior lamp when needed. The design is convenient, needing little maintenance. We only need to periodically clean the surface, to ensure that the solar panels recieve ample light to continue to operate at night. We find Maki Solar product quality to be very stable. Up until now all the Ground Lights are still operating normally. Better still we do not need to spend additional money on electricity costs.

General day to day maintenance

	Use a broom to sweep away any fallen leaves, dirt, or other debris that might be obscuring the solar panel.
	Use clear water and a soft rag to clean the surface of the ground light. Perform this type of maintenance regularly to keep the product operating at peak efficiency.
