Solar panel technology, also called "photovoltaic" technology or PV for short, is a solar power technology that uses solar cells or solar photovoltaic arrays to convert light from the sun directly into electricity. There are many different types of solar panels, such as single crystalline silicon, poly crystal and amorphous types. In the majority of Maki Solar products we use crystalline silicon solar panels because their transformation efficiency is relatively better than that of other kinds of solar panel. In this way we can also guarantee that all of our manufactured products have the optimum charging efficiency.
 
Strict Control of Solar Panel Sources
It is the case that the quality of most solar panels on the market has been uneven with great variation in their charging efficiency and price. It is for this reason that Maki Solar chooses solar panels only from reputable manufacturers who specialize in producing stable quality products that have gone through ISO9001 international certification. All our solar panels have gone through the relevant authentification process. In addition they are all cut from larger panels that is to say that scraps or fragments are never used. We insist on these criteria so as to give our clients products first-rate efficiency products.
 
Zero Problem Quality Control
After the supplier of the materials has been selected further steps are taken to ensure that the finished products will have no problems. All Maki Solar stock material and every solar panel undergo another testing process (see the picture below). If we find any discrepancy from the original factory specifications the deficient item is immediately returned to the manufacturer. In this way we can ensure that all the solar panels in our products all conform to product specifications. Moreover after installation the solar panels undergo another testing process designed to guarantee that there has been no mistake at the time of installation that would result in the product being unable to operate. Therefore Maki Solar produced products have all undergone multiple inspections. The product efficiency is such that can always set one's mind at rest.

In our unceasing promotion of product efficiency not only does Maki Solar take great pains to choose the best solar panel source and then subject them to a rigorous quality control screening process, we have take further steps to enhance product efficiency. This is being done by trying to make advances in the technology. We are currently working in conjunction with the NCU (National Central University) photonics centre, one of the best photoelectronic research centers in Asia to take the research a step further. For example, very recently one research program directed at studying Solar Concentrators was recognized by the national SBIR program (United News). It was found that with the Solar Concentrator we not only can reduce the surface area of the solar panel but also cut the net cost and increase the transformation efficiency. At present, although there is still some limitation in the use of crystalline silicon solar panel technology, we at Maki Solar believe that in cooperation with the NCU Photonics Centre and in collaboration with the national agency, before long we should be able to solve this problem.
Moreover the Solar Concentrator used together with the Ⅲ-Ⅴ compound solar panel can surmount any other thresholds. Solar energy productivity can be increases 2 to 3 times which means that using Maki solar products leads to faster charging and greater product usefulness.
